Biography
As a founding partner of MGW Law, John F. Mayer helped establish the firm with the mission of advocating for individuals facing wrongfully denied insurance claims and bad faith insurance practices in Wisconsin. With over 30 years of legal experience, John is dedicated to ensuring that “the little guy” receives passionate and skilled representation against powerful insurance companies.
John’s extensive background in litigation includes work on both sides of the aisle, successfully prosecuting and defending hundreds of cases for individuals and institutional clients. His experience spans complex medical malpractice, insurance litigation, and negligence cases, securing tens of millions of dollars in recoveries for his clients.
Beyond the courtroom, John is an active educator and speaker, sharing his knowledge with lawyers, healthcare providers, insurance professionals, and students on topics such as evidentiary matters, insurance law, medical malpractice, negligence, and wrongful claims denials.
