Through strategic litigation and relentless advocacy, we’ve secured multimillion-dollar settlements for clients impacted by hail, fire, and other property losses—ensuring policyholders receive the full value of the coverage they paid for.  Here are some of our recent settlements.

Condo Association Hail Damage
After two hailstorms left significant damage to dozens of roofs, the insurer denied most of the Association’s claims and refused to pay for the second storm altogether. MGW Law took the case to court and, after extensive litigation efforts, secured a $4.8 million settlement for the Association.

Fire Loss and Bad Faith Claim
When a devastating fire destroyed a commercial structure and valuable property, the insurer delayed, underpaid, and wrongfully denied key portions of the claim. MGW Law fought back—challenging the insurer’s handling of both the business and homeowner’s policies—and achieved a $2.015 million settlement for the clients.

Condo Association Hail Damage
Following a major hailstorm that caused widespread roof and exterior damage, the insurer failed to fully investigate and pay for the necessary repairs. MGW Law stepped in, advocating for full recovery under the Association’s policy, and obtained a $1.85 million settlement on its behalf.

Commercial Fire Loss
After a major fire caused extensive smoke and soot damage to a commercial property, the insurers delayed payment and disputed the extent of loss despite clear evidence of building-wide contamination. MGW Law stepped in, challenged the insurers’ handling of the claim, and secured a $2.675 million settlement for the property owners and management company.

Commercial Hail Damage
When multiple hailstorms caused millions in property damage, the insurer failed to properly investigate or pay for repairs—even disregarding its own consultant’s findings. MGW Law pursued the claim aggressively, ensuring accountability and securing a $2.5 million settlement for the property owner.
